Experience
-
Unreal
Blueprints & C++
I started using UE5 in 2022; from there, I gained a strong understanding of the blueprint system and UMG.
-
Godot
GDScript & C#
I have used this engine to get more comfortable with using engines I have not been taught in Education. I was quite familiar with learning engines, as I learnt Unreal by myself a lot of the time.
-
Unity
C#
I have created a few projects in Unity, notably my survival 2D game.
Using tools such as Blender, Substance Painter, and Photoshop, I have expanded my knowledge of game development. I have made a few games to date; some of them I made for game jams, where I try to develop my skills, and some are personal projects.
In my first year of university, I utilised Unity with C# and Unreal with Blueprints. In my second year, I utilised more of Unreal with C++ and Blueprints.
In my personal time, I have created systems and projects to heighten my skill set. I have also dived into more engines such as UEFN with Verse and Godot with GDScript & C#, in addition to Unreal Blueprints & C++ and Unity with C#.

University of Staffordshire
2024 - Present
Grade (Prediction): 1st Class (80%)
I am currently pursuing a university degree to get a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Games Development at the University of Staffordshire to continue my learning.
Throughout university, I have utilised Unreal Engine 5, Unity 6, 3DS Max, Blender, Photoshop, and Substance Painter. Each of these software have their own learning curve which I have adapted to.
In my first year of university I created multiple projects - Restaurant Mash was a featured game in my 1st year, as that was where I had all the knowledge I knew and learned put into it. I have published this on Itch.io so you can view the game and its current state.
I had two feature projects in 2nd year: Magic Suite (A plugin tool to be able to add notes inside of Unreal Engine) and Gravity Knight (A collaborative puzzle game with 20 people working on it, 4 of them being the tech team, which I was a part of). These two I have then carried on after my second year to publish them on their respective platforms.

Loughborough College
2022 - 2024
Grade: DMM
I studied computer science in secondary school as one of my GCSEs, which made me want to get into coding. To do this, I went to Loughborough College to study a Level 3 BTEC in Games Development
In which I used Blender, Unreal Engine Blueprints, Substance Painter and much more to create and design two main game projects.
My Hobbies
I have started to enjoy climbing as a hobby of mine. I have taken a liking to bouldering, but top rope is quite good as well. I love to play games in my free time, as any game developer should, as it helps me learn more about mechanics from a consumer side.
I have played games from Lemmings to The Sims. I have owned a ton of consoles, from a Game Boy Advance SP to a beloved Xbox 360.
