I started using UE5 in 2022 from there I gained a strong understanding of the blueprint system and UMG. Using tools such as Bender, Substance Painter and Photoshop I have expanded my knowledge of game development. I have made a few games to date, some of them I made for game jams where I try and develop my skills and some personal projects. In my first year of university I utilised Unity with C# and Unreal with Blueprints. I partially used Unreal and C++ but this was not a main focus in the modules. I am now currently learning more of Unreal's C++ and more of the engine as a whole.
• 2024 - Present - University of Staffordshire
I am currently pursuing university to get a Bachelors Degree in Computer Games Development at the University of Staffordshire to continue my learning. So far I have created 4 game projects, one 3D project, and one console project during my time in the first year of university. I have utilised Unreal Engine 5, Unity 6, 3DS Max, Blender, Photoshop and Substance Painter throughout my current time at university.
• 2022 - 2024 - Loughborough College
I studied computer science in secondary school as one of my GCSEs this made me want to get into coding. To do this I went to Loughborough College to study a Level 3 BTEC in Games Development. In which I used Blender, Unreal Engine Blueprints, Substance Painter and much more to create and design two main game projects.
